I was surprised to hear my youngest daughter say once, “can we go on a cruise.” I merely thought it was just one of her daytime antics making her suddenly want it. But after a few days, I figured out why she was dying to be in one. I guess she saw a Disney Cruise Lines commercial on TV one time, and she even drew a big Disney ship on one of her drawing books to show how enchanted she was about the whole cruise thing.
Well, for one, I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise by my family. But chance has not presented itself well until now. With the opportunity to finally plan a long-overdue family vacation, I searched for the best cruise deals on the Net. My daughter didn’t want anything else but Disney Cruise Line so I decided to visit their website. And I was very much impressed with what I saw.
Our chosen CruiseTour is a land and sea adventure, which includes a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort where you can find 10 fantastic-themed hotels and parks. Disney Cruise Lines has diverse activities for everyone aboard, and specially for the kids. They have the Flounder’s reef nursery which caters to hosting fun-filled activities for the younger children all through out the cruise, complete with a soft-play area in an attractive kid-friendly interior.
There are also activities for teens and adults aboard the ship. Adults can be pampered by the signature spa onboard and some elegant music lounges and restaurants are also available for visits. For teens, there are also fun and hip activities and excursions made especially for them, with staff supervision, of course. On most of their ships, there are usually family movies and talent nights shown on the deck, with occasional public parties and lounge shows, too. Various Disney characters even have surprise appearances onboard so for sure, it will enthrall the kids no end.
Taking the virtual tour was actually nostalgic for me, too, as I remember my Disney-filled dreamy days, where I would jump at the sight of Mickey Mouse. I really feel like it will give the family the best vacation of a lifetime. So, off to the Caribbean we go, on board a stylish cruise with Mickey Mouse and his friends.
