I am a fan of the world. As early as the age of six, I swore I will visit every country I knew. At that time, there were only a few that I knew of and it included Paris, London, Italy, United States, Asia and Toyland. Later on somebody corrected me and said it was Thailand, but that’s okay. Much to my delight, I discovered more and more countries as I grew up, and swore more and more on reaching all of them.
Now, I’m older and much more capable of making that dream come true. However, the only big problem now is I don’t know where to start. Thinking up of all the beautiful countries in my list, I guess it is difficult to finally be able to live your dream and start planning. Nonetheless, I’m in it and I guess I’ll start with a cruise.
Prior to this, I researched for the best cruise destinations, and of course, a good cruise line to bring me there. I was able to get hold of a cruise offering from Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, for a Transatlantic Cruise, which will take me to Ireland, Canary Islands, France and Portugal. It came on a tight competition with a full Caribbean cruise, but I wanted to visit as much spots on my first so I settled with the earlier.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines appear to be a great cruise line with all its state-of-the-art staterooms, gourmet dining restaurants, ice skating rinks and rock-climbing walls. By the looks of it, it almost feels like a 5-star floating hotel. The cruise I chose is inclusive of 14 nights of sailing to various ports such as Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Tenerife, Canary Islands; Lisbon, Portugal; Cadiz, Spain; Malaga, Spain; Barcelona, Spain, aboard one of their ships called Navigator Of The Seas. This big structure is equipped with a 5-story theater, an ice-skating rink, an inline skating track and a basketball court. I was given a choice between Interior, Outside, Balcony and Deluxe Rooms, and I simply chose the Balcony for only $1,399.00. It has a great ocean view from the upper levels of the ship, which I believe will make my time on board satisfying and my ocean adventure worth it.
For many, cruising may be too much of a luxury. But there is nothing as fulfilling as rewarding yourself with a long, relaxing holiday after working so hard and earning so much. I believe it is more than a whim.
